UPDATE ON PROPERTY FUND RAISER!!!!
total raised is at 9,695.00 !!!
The dogs and I are overwhelmed at all the support you have given us, all of you have been so amazing!!!
We still need to raise 5305.00 we are so close !!!
The offer on the Florence property has been submitted and they replied with a counter offer so we submitted a second offer and are now waiting on that outcome. It appears it will go in our favor, Our realtor is an animal lover, animal rights advocate and with a rescue dog as part of his family!!! How can we loose !!
We do have back up properties sitting in the wings just in case, so either way the dogs and the Sanctuary are going to a better place,
Some of the dogs will begin to be moved to the Somerville Annex next week, until the new property is secured and the move is complete then they will join us, those will be only the dogs in the large play yards, the rest will stay with me for the entire transition.
Thank You all for your continued support!!

A Note from Troopers new Dad, we needed to make some corrections!!!!!!!!
1. He is MY Service Dog, not a therapy dog. He has far more rights from the ADA, and State of Texas than therapy dogs do (and requires far more training...:) ). He is performing great. He will post a brief note about his trip to the VA in Temple shortly (says it is 'boring on a stick...")
2. My son lives in Iowa and is not a paraplegic....lol. Daniel suffers from Duchenne's MD, and is Marty and Michelle's son....lol. Trooper is not here to help Daniel, but he has made him laugh a few times already.
3. Trooper's Service Dog training is proceeding apace and he got lots of compliments at the VA. All the way from HANDSOME, to 'wow, he is so well behaved,' etc. He also got another Veteran to open up and ask about how to get and train an Service Dog. The vet has some of the same issues I do. Without Trooper there, he would never have known to ask!
Thanks,
Dave
a homelss dog once living in the streets that some one threw away and no one else wanted,
Its so amazing the work he has already done and how much he has already acomplished, after being in rescue for over 5 years, Trooper's voice can now be heard

Help Us Campaign to move a Sanctuary !
The flooding at Dogtown Ranch is extreme and cannot be fixed, we need to move the Sanctuary to a better location for the dogs in that are in recovery, rehabilitation, permanent residents, and for adoption events and training, The house and kennel building has permanent structural damage and cannot be fixed. We also had plans to expand to help with the overpopulation of homeless dogs in crisis, we cannot do any of that at our present location. The Ranch is at a stand off, and its very frustrating, Please help us, help them, we are trying to raise 15,000.00 for the down payment on the Florence Property, financing is already in place!!!!! All Donations are tax deductable
Check out the Dogtown Ranch Face Book page to see photos of what we have endured, enough is enough
we have over $4000.00 in pledges since this morning!! please, any donation is not too small
